Seasonal Holly

This is the second post of images from the last session at the ASOC Occasional Figure Drawing Workgroup for this year. We get a lot of drawing done in this workgroup. Holly sat for us for the end of the year session, and you can see other drawings of Holly at this session at this post.

This one is from a five or ten minute pose, charcoal on cartridge paper, 29.7 cm by 42 cm.

This one is from a ten minute pose but I did a couple of drawings for this pose, so this is probably a five minute sketch, charcoal on cartridge paper, 29.7 cm by 42 cm.

This was a difficult pose to draw. I would have preferred that the image had the model lying flatter on the page but foreshortening always brings its challenges. Charcoal and conte crayon on cartridge paper, 29.7 cm by 42 cm.
