Miss Saigon

A surprise return visit from Lisa as our model for this week's ASOC Portrait and Life Work Group. Lisa wore a beautiful Vietnamese Áo dài dress which provided great inspiration for our drawing and painting today.

First up - I did gouache paintings for the three long poses (all pencil and gouache on water colour paper, 50 cm by 70 cm).

Also, two of the charcoal drawings from the five minute poses at the start of the session. Both charcoal and chalk on newsprint (51 cm by 76 cm). Lisa didn't bring the leaf hat, it was already in the studio.
