At Claire's suggestion, I visited the Yoshitomo Nara exhibition Reach Out to The Moon, Even If We Can’t this week.
Nara is best known for his sculptures and drawings of big-headed girls whose expressions denote both cuteness (kawaii) and darkness.
The subject matter here is Nara's reaction to the Fukushima disaster of 11 March 2011.
